I just received my full size order of Hollywood Face Base, in the shade that you recommended for me,(Medium Neutral) and I am thrilled with this product!!!! Over the years I have tried most of the popular mineral makeups, such as BE, Sheer Cover, my friend even sells Pur Minerals in her spa, and I must say that your makeup is in a class and category all it's own!!! I have tried drugstore mineral makeup and always thought mineral makeup wasn't right for my skin, my skin would always turn orange. What I didn't realize was I hadn't tried the right product. I ordered the inexpensive samples of valley girl foundation, cinderella yella concealer, untinted finishing veil and some blush and a eyeshadow. I was in love the second I applied the foundation my skin was soft, felt like I wasn’t wearing anything at all but the coverage was excellent ( I like medium coverage ) no orange face, no mask looking lines, and my heavy under eye circles are finally concealed...oh and my sensitive eyes no longer tear and burn all day. ”I just want to state the LA mineral does last at least 8 hours, sweat and smudge resistant. LA Hollywood mineral foundation provides medium to full optimal coverage without looking chalky/caky/shiny like BE or Jane Iredale minerals. “I love LA Minerals! I cant stand the feel or look of liquid foundation so when mineral makeup came out I decided to try it. I used bare minerals for about a year but started noticing that the day after I applied it(I don't wear makeup everyday) I would breakout.And then I started to notice a slight itching sensation when applied. Then I thought I would try RAW minerals, with the first application my face started itching horribly, I had to wash it off immedietly! ”I just applied your minerals and am so absolutely impressed. I have been using Bare Minerals for the past 6 months but am reacting to it by breaking out like crazy!!! I got your samples about two weeks a go. I love how they're only $1- $3!
I live in Australia, and I thought that it would take about 10-14 business days for the samples to arrive. Guess what? They came in 6 business days!
Once I saw the parcel in my letter box on the 6th day - I was amazed that it had arrived so quickly! I opened it with excitement and saw your life changing makeup.
"Life changing"? You ask? Well, you see, all of my life, I have a terrible acne. Not one or two little spots here and there - I have genetic acne from both sides of my family. And when a new, disgusting pimple comes up, they're quite large and sore. It's really hard for me because it crushes my self esteem and confidence. The bullies at school don't help - nor do anorexic models, telling you that you have to be skinny and have perfect skin to be beautiful. With acne - you don't want to go outside, you don't want to meet new people, and with the acne I have - I've tried so many medications that my dermatologist recommended to me, and nothing will work!
On a scale of 1-100 (on my self esteem) - before I tried this makeup I was about "4" on that scale. But now that I've tried your product (I'm not lying when I say this!) I feel about "80" on that scale! Honestly! I've never felt so happy with myself and who I am.
With liquid foundations or any other type of makeup - You see a pimple or whatever on your face, and you cover it up with makeup. The makeup then just makes your skin worse ( I won't go into detail about chemicals and stages of a break out). Then you see that the pimple is worse, so you cover it up with MORE makeup. It's a downwards spiral from there, until you give up, stop using foundation and let everyone see the one thing you didn't want them to see - a stupid, life crushing pimple. "Life crushing" may sound over the top, but when you've had as many as me - it is quite "life crushing".
It was very easy for me to find my shade for your makeup - I was very happy with that! Before, I didn't like using makeup, especially liquid foundations! I've never used mineral powder foundations before either! I used your product as a last hope - now I wish that I tried it sooner! Not only does it truly feel like I'm wearing nothing, but it doesn't clog my pores! So in a way it's promoting good skin. :] Your makeup is - as people say - "goof-proof". It's just SO easy and actually fun to apply!
My cousin uses Bare Minerals. I can see that her foundation doesn't suit her skin tone, and the coverage is terrible. it looks caked on - like liquid makeup, and you can really see her acne (we share the acne gene in my family). I've tried turning her onto LA Minerals - but she just loves BM. I don't want to be mean to her and say that it looks...well...not as good as it could be, if she'd just give your makeup a go... But I think once she tries your AMAZING makeup - which is cruelty-free to animals, I must say! - I bet she'll be as hocked as I am!
The Hollywood foundation power has perfect coverage for my skin, and the LA Veil "sets" the makeup perfectly. "Sets" sounds like your putting on a mask - doesn't it? But seriously, the Veil is like it gets all of your makeup, and lets it float about a millimeter above your face, making you feel like you're wearing nothing, allowing your skin to breathe. For all of you new comers to LA Minerals - I'm glad your reading this extremely long testimonial! This makeup has honestly healed my soul, and made me love the person I am.”

“I received the samples yesterday. Shipping was very fast (I'm from the Philippines) it only took almost 2 weeks for me to get it. Hollywood Face Base gives very nice coverage. It has the ability to hide pores and pimple marks. I'm a Fair Warm, but I did mix it with a little amount of Medium Warm for me to get the perfect shade. I think the ratio would be 97% Fair Warm and 3% Medium Warm. This foundation gives a flawless finish and not to mention that it's long-lasting, too.
Blushes are very nice. Very natural-looking and doesn't fade away easily. I got Babydoll, Pimped Mauve and Cupcakin'. I love all of those!”

”I ordered a sample of Everyday Minerals a while ago, and received it yesterday. Just in time, I thought, considering that I don't have any LA Minerals foundation left. I was a bit nervous about trying it (you know, if I for some reason I would like it better than your's), however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover, that I don't. I must say, I REALLY felt that there were no moisturizing ingredients in the EM foundation! The places where my skin felt dry, it just kept feeling dry, untill I after about 8-9 hours had to apply the Elizabeth Arden 8-hour cream. I don't usually have a dry-skin issue (as I've told you, I'm oily-skinned), but using this new skin-care system and everything, I have a slight dry skin on some small spots around the face. As mentioned above, EM did nothing to add moisture! However, everytime I've cleansed my skin, applied moisturizer and everything, my skin (and I am sure others using skin care systems for acne-prone/oily skin) felt dry. After applying your make-up, despite getting a dry feeling at first (it is powdered minerals, after all), after a couple of minutes, the foundation really does meld with the skin, and adds moisture to the dry patches! I miss my LA Minerals foundation!
And, really, there are a lot of people that prefer EM to BM, and vice versa, but I must say, that considering that EM contains the same ingredients, minus the bismuth, I can't really imagine what BM would do for my skin!

“You're the fifth mineral makeup company I've tried & I think I will be
sticking with you. The foundation coverage is smooth & flawless & seems
to take much fewer applications than the others. And I'm in love with the
Milkshake blush. It's the first color that looks purely natural on me.
Blush from most other companies were too orange colored for my fair rosy
skin, or the pink ones are too pink & clash with any orange or rust eye
shadow that I wear. The milkshake gives me just a nice glow & looks great
with any eye shadow.
And I had no intention of buying eye shadow from you because all the
shadow I've tried in the past is way too transparent. Companies always
say that you can apply it dry, or try a wet application for a more
dramatic look. I always had to do two coats of a wet application to get
something that I thought was just normal. So I was resigned to the fact
